“Determination has no disability” Robert M. Hensel
Hi, I’m Jo from Joanna Evans Art Therapy. I’m a Creative Support Worker with a background in clinical art therapy, and I’m passionate about supporting NDIS participants through gentle, art‑based activities. My approach is person‑centred and flexible, offering in‑home, online, and small group creative sessions. I aim to make creative support accessible, meaningful, and aligned with each person’s unique goals.
This is my passion!
I also enjoy supporting people who are interested in using creativity in their work or personal practice. I offer gentle guidance and share what I’ve learned through my own experience in art therapy and creative support roles. My focus is on helping others build confidence, explore creative approaches, and develop their own style in a way that feels authentic to them.
I provide personalised online mentoring sessions that are shaped around each person’s interests — whether that’s learning how to run simple creative activities, building confidence in supporting others, or exploring ways to bring more creativity into their work. My aim is to encourage, support, and help people grow at their own pace.
If you’re curious about creative support work, or you’d simply like to explore how art‑based activities can enrich your practice, I’m always happy to chat.
